I'm telling you, even the non ss Cobalts have alot of GO to them. Definitely does not feel like the 145hp it has. I was very surprised when i test drove this car how comfortable and quick it was. Very peppy, and you don't get that gear change throwback on the automatics.

 

yep it sure is, mine is automatic also and just about every car ive raced i always get em on the launch, i raced a v6 accord tonight on the way home from work and after i beat him he pulled up at a light next to me a said "damn that thing is quick as hell"

 

Yeah, alot of people underrate the Cobalts ... that is until they have an encounter with them. I couldn't be happier with mine.

 

Wait til you drive an SS S/C. I had a 2.2 auto as a rental while mine was in the shop.

Let's just say I wouldn't be trading in my SS S/C for one.

 

For now it's just fine for me. In a year or so I'm sure ill be down to the dealer for a trade in for a SS/SC, but right now I'm more than happy with mine and i love my car!

 

you beat a v6 accord? 4dr or 2dr? had to be 4dr huh?

my mom has a 2dr 4cylinder accord and it sure feels faster than my 2.2 cobalt

 

i raced an sxt when i had my zx3 and let me tell you it was the first time i felt like my car had a v8...:p
