future race: Camaro SS Vs. me

im getting my tune next week or so...and im letting this guy keep my car for the weekend so he can dial it down to every little part and get a perfect tune!!

ill have full exhaust, CAI, 60's, 2.85, stage 3 clutch, blah blah rest in sig lol

its a 2002 35th anniveriary(sp) camaro SS...he has full exhaust..

this guy used to own my car before he sold it to me and he said when i get everything done he wants to do a 40 roll...i dont wanna even do a dig against it lol..he is a auto tho

his best time at the track is 12.88 at 109..he was on DR's tho..

think i got a shot from a 40?

25mph? no you obviously do not know the sweet spot , you need to go from a 40 or 35 in 2nd gear.

well are you racing him next month? haha and with that 2.85 you want at least h/e AND dual pass w/ opt. B or just meth injection (even if its only distilled water it works wonders)

a guy on here is selling dual pass w/ opt. B for 250. id go with a trunk mount meth inj. kit though. You can get them for a similar price and is the best option for cooling. I think AIS is having a massive discount thing month for a trunk mount kit w/ everything you need for $300. Thats a steal and it will work better than th h/e youre about to spend your money on.

Only thing is I'm getting a yank ss3600 stall, shift kit, tranny cooler and removing some torque management for christmas. So the tranny won't be untouched anymore. So it will flash alot faster and should remove my "dead spots". I've never owned a stalled auto before so I'm not exactly sure what to expect. Some people say that its night and day but I'll just have to wait and judge for myself.

It was easy... Its just a management class and they are all pretty much the same. Same concepts at least. It will be a little after Christmas cause I gotta get the cash for the install for all the stuff I get. LOL
