well today coming home from my best friend Ashleys house, i take route 9A well i usually fly, so im going pretty quick, and i see 2 cars coming up pretty quick behind me so i pass the guy in the right lane and move over and sped up a little more, all of a sudden 2 cobras are on my left side and behind me, reving at me, well the stop light comes up and turns red, i usually get off at the exit, so they both reving their v8 superchargers at me, so i had to give em a little something so i reved up mine, and their faces dropped not thinking i was supercharged too and i jsut took my way and took off down the road and they jsut went on, haha i shoulda stayed with em and messed with them even tho i woulda got killed but oo well.

 

yea that would have been a bad death haha. id love to have one of those beasts

And yeah, its pretty cool that the SS is supercharged; it sets you guys apart from alot of other 4cyl tuners and turns some heads in the process.

Yea, I liked having a blown ******* LS1 so I can show ford whats up. Of course a blown V8 should beat a LS1. I'm so sick of hearing about the SC cobras. They can be nice cars. I can't wait for this warnity to go so I can run with those type of cars. The SS/SC with the right mods can win.

nah these guys were surprised theres not many of cobalt ss s/c's around here only like 3-4 in the whole county

 

Even with a blown LS1 unless you put forged pistons in it you wont be able to hang with a modded Cobra. All that goes back to who ever has the most money wins tough.

Not to sound like a fanboy but the 03/04 Cobras were/ still are the best bang for your buck car made for performance. Having a stock engine that can hold 500-600 rwhp is pretty impressive. It looks like the new Shelbys might take that spot if they ever get down to sticker and there are more performance guys buying them, than just rich old men. There are already some Shelbys in the 10s on stock motor which can be said with the 03/04 Cobars too.

Personnally I am not a fan of any pony...just too damn hard to get them to hook up, my buddies Kenne Belle Cobra puts down 650RWHP, and if I have my slicks on my RX-7 takes him eveytime and I have significantly less HP...still badass cars though...too many around me though

Even some of the fastest Cobalt SS/SCs on this forum would have hard time killing a Cobra, of coarse the Cobra have to have the right driver.

 

**** mustang cobras, even the sc ones. Most people that have them can't launch them so they end up running in the 14's when they should be running a second quicker. I use to eat them alive in my vr4. Then again i use to eat anything alive in that, expecially in the rain and snow.

 

the same could be said for F/I FWD vehicles

 

the same should be said about them. hell i was horrible at launching my vr4 but the good thing was most cars i didn't have to full out launch it to win races.

yeah it sucked the way it went down thouhdriving to work the shift cable broke so i drove it 5 miles launching from 3rd and fucked the transfer case, the clutch and the carrier bearings. doing the work myself i was still looking at 3k plus lots of time w-o a car
