So I kinda just realized. I raced an 07 Honda Civic Si for ***** last night from a red light.

When the light turned green, I punched it and hit the nitrous at about 10mph.

Now Full Bolt-on's + 90hp shot of nitrous means I should be making well over 200 to the tire IMO.

I didn't get a single bit of wheelspin, not even a bark.

With traction like that, I bet i could run some NASTY times at the track

 

yea i like the traction falkens give you as they are my tire of preference, but isn't 10mph blowing your load a little early?

your tires must really like you, i get traction at 90 sometimes

 

I think 10mph is fine as long as I can get traction.

isnt 10 miles an hour around 2ish rpms? i wont hit mine till a minimum of 3k

yeah i had my old set for maybe 10000 miles until they blew out... of course there was no tread left, just a soft surface...

 

i only have to hit 5k in 1st to get a nice bark into second shift and shift pretty hard into 3rd for i nice little bark. but i am still on stock tires with about 1/3 tread left.

 

I just counted it out and got 7 seconds flat 0-75mph.

I shut down when my car shifted into 3rd gear at 75mph.

The race between me and the Civic was set up before we even rolled out there so it wasnt like a redlight thing lol

 

I have been blowing off the tires in second, even on Nitto NT-01s, forever. Car just hits too hard in second gear.

Hell, I hook up with 15 year olds here in the states.

It's legal and there's only a 3 year age diff. I don't see the issue
