Got walked by an RSX

Got walked by an RSX
I was out lastnight at our spot where we race It was a good turn out about 20 or so cars, but to make a long story short I got an race with an rsx I thought no problem I look under his hood no bottle that I thought anyways and the guy had a tire were I am still on a stock tire. but I still raced him heads up knowing I was already beat, on the line I out 60ft him on my stock tire but as soon as we hit 2nd That dude rolled out big Im talking putting a instent 4 cars on me and at the end total cars I lost by was 6. so ShotBus all I have to say is beware they were all from Va.

I have raced stock rsx type s before and have not lost that badly yeah he was on a DR so that helped him but for him to dip out that ******* quick in 2nd gear, Nitros is all im saying

1. Did you smell a "burnt match" smell when he balled out? If so YOU GOT SPRAYED
2. Did he hang with you in a 2nd gear then disappear? If so YOU GOT SPRAYED
3. Did he have a"gym bag" or luggage in his hatch? If so YOU GOT SPRAYED
4. Did you look at his injectors/fuel system for a hidden wet shot? If not, YOU GOT SPRAYED
Don't sweat it...happens to us all at some time or another. At least those who frequent these "types" of events.

Well those DR's he had obviously didn't help him at all if you still out 60'ed him. Cause after the launch they're not good for much unless he has some crazy hp numbers were he would just break loose in 2nd and 3rd and would need help for traction, other then that didn't help him at all. He had to of had the usual I/H/E bolt on's and some head work done. That's all I can think of if he took you the way you explain it. Just keep working at your car, I'm sure you'll get back at him.

I'm not a big fan of the "he must have been spraying theory". It could be the case, but too many people say that about us and we never are. Then we proceed to make fun of them for suggesting it. He could just have had a nasty RSX.

i said with equal drivers....b/c the ss/sc is faster
i didnt say an ss/sc would win every race...i said with = drivers, the ss/sc does
how could a slower car beat a faster car if the drivers were identical/equal? it coudnt!

Ok, I understand you lost but thats about it. What is it we have to watch for? Top end or Acceleration??
