so i had a great run with a older M3 today(the boxier kind). i saw him checkin out my car but i wasnt sure if he wanted to run. we were at a light with a car in between us when the light changed. i started off normal so that i didnt look like a moron if the guy wasnt interested, but then i saw him jump ahead pretty quick. i responded by stomping on it, but my front tires are pretty much gone. with a nice spin through first and the beginning of 2nd, i had a good 2 cars at least to make up at this point. once we hit about 45 my car started to show its good side. i caught up to him to where i my bumper was even with his back fender by the time we were at 100mph. it stayed right there until we both let off right when i shifted to 4th.

this M3 was no joke. no clue on mods but i have never had one of this year model hold its ground like that. as usual in this area, he showed that he was a nice guy and good sport with a wave and a nod.

 

Sounds like a good race. It's always nice to go up against someone who is a good sport about it and isn't the usual ricer-db you always seem to see.
What are your mods? Any Ingalls or anything? If not, should really help with wheelhop.

 

nah i have no suspension mods at all yet. i really dont race much anymore so i havent needed em.
