2008 C6 Z51 > 2004 C5 Z06 = 2008 Base C6 = 2007 C6 Z51> 2007 Base C6
Now even a base 2007 LS2 C6 will run mid 12's @ 113-114mph with your average driver and a GTO will run mid low 13's @ 108-109mph with the same driver.
If memory serves me right you own a GTO so if my car is the bottom of the totem pole you are the dirt it sits on.
0-60 in 4.1 seconds, low 12's @ 115mph, 194mph and pulls .99g talk about slow and boring.

Bullshit, maybe to the people who think they are street racing kings but there opinion matters little to me. Although it wouldn't suprise me what some people belive is slow these days when I see what some consider a girl is supposed to look like.

Now yes I know a stock vette is faster then my goat as I have stated before, then again most vette drivers can't drive for a lick and would probably get beat by me at the track stock for stock. By the sound of you dropping magazine times left and right I bet you fall in that category too! Have you ever even taken your car to the track? Cause sitting here telling me you can pull .99 g's on the skid pad is more then likely not something you personally can do nor verify which means you must have learned that in car and driver or motortrend....
BTW, yes by todays standards for performance cars your car is slow too just like mine. There are many cars with a V/M/AMG and other marks next to names that will take your car stock for stock, and that doesn't even include all the higher level vettes above you or super cars. I am just listing 2 and 4 door family cars. Just to put into perspective how slow we are, go check out the Koenigsegg versus the F430. That high 140 trapping car made that high 120 trapping car look silly, and that 120 trapping car would do the same to you, me, any cobalt. Really shows well where we are compared to the "Big Dogs" of the car world.

Yes both of our cars are faster then almost all of theirs, but whats the reason we are on this forum? Obviously we dig the car, but balt owners if you want us stop flaming the war section then stop posting about pulling faster cars up to 150 when your stock and they are modded.

Why in the hell did you waste all that time typing that stupid ****?
1- After 20 or so F-Bodies a 2006 GTO and a few other cars I wanted a C6 so I bought one. I don't give a **** what you think it's worth because after owning 35 different cars something is only worth what someone else will pay. That and if you are in it to keep track of what it's worth you already lost. The GTO was a pig and handled worse than my F-Bodies and was no faster. All I did was upgrade to a car that wasn't a waste of the LS2.
2- I owned a Cobalt SS/SC and not once have I bashed one so learn to read idiot. I have only bashed silly ass GTO owners like you and from your last thread it's obvious why.
3- You GTO trolls do much more of the lookie what I got bullshit than I ever have. Hell I have only brought up what my car will do when bone heads like you act like your GTO is something special.
4- If you take belivable results the LS3 hasn't bested the C5 Z06 yet. The kid that claimed high 11.7 100% stock is full of ****.
Sorry we aren't like the big balling idiots who are know by there screen names like there more than a no one. Anyone can stick money in a car and make it faster but by doing so makes you no more of a man. I have more than enough money to make my car run 9's if I wanted to but I don't give a ****.
If I want to go faster i'll hop on my Gixxer I don't need to turn my C6 into a unreliable barely streetable car just to look cool.

Thats why I upgraded to a C6.
In stock form the GTO is only impressive to someone who has never driven a LS1 F-Body 03-04 Cobra or Vette. The suspension quality is less than that of a Kia and softer than my GF's daily driven Sunfire SE. Add in the fact that these guys brag about 119mph traps running 450hp and it's just plain funny.
I by no means hate the GTO but if you own one at least be smart enough to realize what it is and isn't.
