So last week my buddy and I were going bowling, I was following him in my car, since I don't ride bitch with anyone. He drives a 99ish Cutlass 3.1L V6

So we were cruising down a rural 4 lane highway, when we catch up to a body kitted teal integra. My friend begins passing him on the right since he refused to heed our right-of-way.

Almost immediately after, the light up ahead turns red. We all pull up to the light, Integra in the left lane, my friend in the right lane, and me behind my friend.

I give my friend in the Cutlass a good love tap on the rear bumper to tell him to go for it.

The light turns green, and I hear squealing tires, so I slam the shifter in "1" and punch it. By the time I hit the gas, both cars are half a length ahead.

The Cutlass easily pulls past the Teg, I reel in right behind the Cutlass. About two hundred feet past the light, the lanes merge into one, (I had never ridden down the road before, my friend had).

I had caught up to and had almost a half length on the Integra and was pulling hard, but I wasn't about to play chicken with a 10 year old shitbox, so I backed off.


Good times : I hit about 55-60mph when I shutdown, so we didn't even go 1/8 mile.

My friend was super excited because he had never raced anyone at a red light before, plus he beat the acura

Haha I was so mad, because I wasn't lined up with the Teg, I saw a body kit, a fart cannon and a redlight and was pissed.

Thats why I ran into my friends back bumper haha, I was mad that he got the line up and not me

 

Haha. I have a friend who has an amazing 87 Cutlass. He's never tested it or whatever, but thinks it makes around 600hp. Granted... It has a totally different engine in it, but ehh. That things hauls. We had 6 people in it one night, and it was still amazing.

 

Crazy... i cant believe u actually hit someone on purpose... poor cobalt. Sounds like u saw another riced out teg.. lol

ill be up there this summer in middletown i believe for raing, we need to all meet up. I have family in utica, whitesboro and jamestown/bemuspoint. the middletown would only be for a day though for the car racing

 

i had a monte carlo with that 3.1L i ran a 16.8 at 89mph! loved that car
