You prob dont know I traded the slobalt for an HHR SS.










HHR has catless downpipe and is in mid stages of HPtune.
IE: We have nailed down the boost but have not got into the timing yet so timing is still held back at a very very safe stock point.

G8 GT is dead stock. He did not drop to 1st in the roll like he wanted and I was in a low 2nd gear going from 25. The dig really shows the G8's power though.

Did NOT use launch control on HHR. I did NLS 2nd-4th but not 1st-2nd as that would wheel hop all over the road...lol

Cant wait to see what some timing does to the dragon wagon.

hahahahahahaha your funny! g8s gt with the 6.2 are quick cars, there just heavy. I drive my moms 06 gto compared to my cobalt ss sc huge difference. in the gto ive beat stock cobalt ss tcs (no vids) but there not slow. not even close.

edit : gto is a 06, and is completely stock

obviously, you guys know **** about lsx cars! The g8 is built on the same platform, similar motor, they weigh about the same as the gto, the g8 has 2 more doors, only difference. The g8 is slightly faster. He said that the g8 is a slow turd, not even close there not slow. with slight mods they get in 11s with a heads, cam package . Im saying that I can compare that the OLDER SLOWER all stock gto beats stock cobalt ss TC's

An ls2 goat would pull away from a G8.
Not minimizing the ass whuppin I gave my buddy but the 2 cars you are comparing are not as simple as say a trans am and camaro. The GTO and G8 are 2 different engines, have a 40hp diff, 200lb and u can get a 6speed in the goat.

So your point makes very little sense.

and im not sure about the gto beating a g8? I was going to the airport with my uncle, he was driving, we raced a g8, sounded like it had just exhaust, like just mufflers, and it pulled on us by a car? The gto is a auto so no driver mod needed. Im trying to say they are pretty similar cars, cause they are. Also 40hp and 200lb difference would make em pretty even cars. Im just saying the g8 isn't a slow turd.

The owner oof the G8 has a cammed ls2 goat as well.
My hugger is a beast and I know the ls platform very well.
