I wouldnt do it. If you have a GM S2, then I would try it, but stock with CAI, I would think you would loose

I have beaten a few 350Zs stock. It seems like it was a drivers race though. I would roll in second gear right around 3.5-4k rpms. Whatever speed that is for stock.

Edit Post: And yes, I was stock also.
However, I would neve bet 100 bucks, something sounds shady about that. I would only bet 100 bucks if I know I'm going to win. You should have someone you trust hold the money for both of you too.

 

try to have him do a roll at 40 thats going to help. If you do a dig his going to own you

 

Close..... i ran with a G35, same basic caras a 350z, we were neck in neck at a 20 roll. By the end i pulled about 2 car lenghts

 

U should loose man, a stock Z should take a SS/SC with a CAI. But do what ever u want, keep us posted. If hes auto, might take him, if its stick, he should take you.... but its all "should"

yea i raced 40 mph
lmao they top out 160 wat do we top out at 145 stock roudn thier
40 mph took him off roll kep it that way till bout 70ish then he started to gain on me then round 90ish we were real close then once i put into 4th he starts pulling on me like crzy cuz of all that top end so in the end after i was going 140 who knows how fast he was going lol bout 3 1/2 cars
i also had 2 passengers

 

when i had an airbox mod i pulled a g35 pretty good but 350's are lighter

 

i dunno he has shortshifter he a very good driver too but hey they have much more top end then cobalts so thats why he took me... also will 2 ppl makes a big difference....he had a passenger too tho

 

How close was it? If he beat you by alot it was a shady race. Or you just didint get a good run that time. Get stage II and own him...

 

go from a slower role because those cars are stoopid up top. try and do some research and see what the MPH redline is in each gear and judge your best bet from there.

I raced my buddies 350z a month or so ago....he will pull on you but wont spank you. It also matters if its the base 350 or the fairlady with the LSD n such...those are a tad slower
