Oh no I wasnt knocking your car or anything, you did really good. I got love for my fellow TVS'ers:)

Marca34 11-11-2010 10:43 PM

oh no i wasnt trying to be defensive just giving a more detail description of my ghetto zost. LOL Im TVS all the way.

dont forget his wastegate. agp wastegate holds peak boost fairly close to redline.

Yea the nearest station is about 30mins from my house. Maybe one day ill take the time to get a tank of it and tune.

Marca34 11-12-2010 10:48 AM

There will be a part to of this video coming soon.

Supercharged Guy 11-12-2010 10:49 AM

Very good runs OP

I mean yeah you lost but who cars, it was a friendly race and plus you can't win everytime :twothumbs

Just wait untill you go big turbo..

Marca34 11-12-2010 10:52 AM

If Ryland had the map sensor he could hold 22 psi. He spikes 22 then hold 20.

jmfselu 11-12-2010 11:07 AM

very nice vid, great races

383_Stroker 11-12-2010 11:12 AM

The second tvs race is much better ;-).. where you start at the same time.. and don't hit the limiter..

ummm....what? lol.....

Marca34 11-12-2010 11:20 AM

I have to granny shift because the stock clutch wont hold between shifts really quick.

ebristol 11-12-2010 11:25 AM

You guys should have put the TVS up agaist then SS/TC. :)

really? A neon is that fast at stage 3? How much power are the two cobalts making?

I've found of late that alot of guys (especially in this crowd) underestimate SRT4's...

It's not unusual to see them running 11secopnd quarter miles around here (3,380ft/aprox 5,000ft DA)...

That's not to say the Cobalts can't beat them..

Can you re-upload it without the music?

I could download it then try to email it, or host it somewhere where you could access it?

lemme know...

soundjunky 11-12-2010 11:43 AM

no No. I know they are fast I just didnt understand what was meant by the "Stage 3" fast n furious lingo

I would just say "Big turbo neon" not stage 3 neon.

Supercharged Guy 11-12-2010 01:11 PM

Any car can be fast with big turbo...

So were not underestimating them (srt4) but simply saying that "Stage 3" should have been said to be big turbo

I want to see rematch when balt has big turbo

ecotecturbo 11-12-2010 01:21 PM

Mopar stage 3 srt4s make about 380whp. Both cobalts did good but id say the tvs car should be on e85 and some more tuning and then do a rematch.

Bring like 10 gas cans so you can always run E  Its damn good stuff

383_Stroker 11-12-2010 01:26 PM

A mopar stage 3 kit for an SRT is a large turbo by definition..

They aren't like the cobalts where stage 3 can be anything from a 3.0" pulley from CA to a Harrop from ottp..lol

The Mopar Performance Stage 3R Turbo Upgrade Kit ($4199 MSRP) was the hottest bolt-on--the "R" is for "race only," so keep it off of public roads, wink wink. The kit is essentially a big Mitsubishi TD05 turbo with the necessary electronic and fueling enhancements to make it work.

That SRT has more in it than what he thinks , thats BS

I've raced 20g SRt-4's with 1000cc injectors, sheppard trans, running ethanol granted his PCM is a stage 1 diablo tuned and he fried his original so obviously he wasn't running full power but come on it wasn't like it was lacking a ton of power. ( impedance issues )

A lot of stage 3's here also and I haven't had one of them pull me... these aren't just encounters these are my friends with these cars.

All that is different on my ride is the FMIC and a CIA Cold air intake.. My car pulls stage 3's pretty hard too..

I donno man either driver mod or something isn't right , your car should be pulling a lot more on that stage 3 if indeed it really is just stage 3..

Yeah running meth and e85 with about every bolt on imaginable ...
