well, i got my answer to my first post. the answer is no. you guys have never had a
problem getting someone to race you. that's because you don't street race.

A mod will eventually lock it, so it's whatever. People are to ******* stupid and refuse to assume responsibility and are blind to the dangers of street racing. If they street race, they deserve to end up in jail or in the hospital.

 

see, if you could have said that from the beginning, any "roll" comments probably wouldn't have been mentioned. Then you'd have people like me defending you for street racing rather than making fun of you for only wanting to roll race.

 

It seems strang no one wants to race you. Everytime I'am at a light or driving down the road I always have some **** head, moron, idiot, ass hat in his honda or neon or what ever want to race, I just ignore them and let them fly down the road thinking boy I sure smoked that cobalt, as I don't street race. That **** belongs on the track

But the main difference between this thread and the others are...the other are about the races they had. Yea there's still the E-Police that shun against street racing, but not as many. now this thread is about how you can't find anyone to street race, and you are "Whining" about. Even at that point I didn't care. Then the thread turned into a "How to start a Cobalt from a dig" discussion. Which again, I was fine with, and yes there were some people still chiming in about street racing being bad. But then the SSReepur guy had to start yelling at everyone and calling everyone idiots, morons and ******* because alot of people don't agree with it. Sure some of us may have done it before, and have wintessed first hand the dangers and stupidness of it, and forgive us for trying to educate people on it, I just don't want to come on here and read a post about a kid who totaled his car, ended up in the hospital ect. because he was street racing. It's like a "Learn from my mistake" type you know? So sorry for taking it out of hand, it just hit a cord in me when the insults to safe racers came out. But it looks like you are tying to take them to the track, which is the best desicion. If you do street race, just be as safe as possible.

And to who ever said the comment about people buying fast cars and spending money on them to only race on a track is an idiot, I can only say, really? There's alot of people that buy cars to only race them either at a drag strip, or a track. They have a passion for originized racing, not childish street racing, there is a difference. But what ever, if that's what you think then so be it.

So to everyone on here, if you want to flame me, bash me, ect, go for it, cause I don't give a **** if I get bashed while knowing full well know I am being the safe one. I have worked too damn hard to get where I'm at in life to do something that dumb and risk everything, such as my car.

Talking about not being able to find a street race is kinda like a pedophile complaining that they can't find any children to molest. It's just not something you talk about with a bunch of other people. It's not something accepted by most people, or deemed as appropriate. You probably shouldn't go looking for trouble.

I am sure most flamers are hypocrites here. Given a situation they would probably downshift and give it some gas, call it racing, call it what you want. I have been in my fair share of "situations" in the past. They just kinda happen, but I still don't condone it.
