A LS2 will get 29mpg

And I put 2 sunlegths on the sun yesterday. Now the moon wants a race but I hate racing at night.

The city and highway tests are currently performed under mild climate conditions (75 degrees F) and use acceleration rates and driving speeds that EPA believes are generally lower than those experienced by drivers in the real world. Neither test is run with the use of accessories, such as air conditioning. The highway test has a top speed of 60 miles per hour, and an average speed of only 48 miles per hour.

throw in a/c and driving like its supposed to be driven, i think that number will significantly decrease.

Under full throttle? Cause when I reset my MPG counter, I get 4.1mpg at WOT from the pig-rich stage 2 tune in my little 4-banger (I don't do that too often these days because this car has to last me like 10 years--well at least 4-5 to get my Bachelor in Pharmacy, and it's only been a year and a half LOL--so I baby the crap out of it and get 20-22city/37mpg hwy--I don't go into the boost range if I can help it, i try to stay on the Vac side of the gauge). I couldn't imagine WOT in a GTO. Sweet ass car and I'd love to have one, just couldn't afford to drive one. Props to anyone that can. My stepdad's 440...you can LITERALLY watch the gas gauge go down when you go a couple miles @ WOT on the highway. Insane, I tell ya.

LOL show that moon what's what. I'll put 50 bucks on the GTO.

I was actually quite surprised in mhat MPG my GTO could get I seen 28-29mpg cruising to Rapid City at a steady 75mph. I seen the same in my LS1 Camaros gotta love a T-56.

As for the moon we agreed I would just meet up one morning while he is still out.

Lol I always have a gas guzzler. I get 16mpg in the City and 22mpg on the hwy.

When I do a mixture of city/hwy driving I get around 20-21mpg.

I hate how much gas my car eats but what do you expect when you push 23psi on pump gas...

Thanks to everyone for the compliments, its much appreciated.

I was bored so I figured Id try to race the sun lol j k.
