I thought 240sx's were kind of fast.

I guess not. Raced one at the middle of december. From 60 to 100. It wasnt even fair, to the point that he he hung way back and disappeared. Guess he didnt want the driver of the "stock" cavalier to see his face. He had a pretty nice looking body kit and an exhaust that didnt sound to bad either but I guess I'm going to have to assume he was just bolt on's. Oh and I forgot to mention I was loaded way down with all of my college stuff going home for Christmas break.

This one can join the kill list
Stock 09 SI
bolt on and chipped Jetta GLi
1st gen bolt on miata (lolz)
SN95 mustang GT (auto, but from a dig)
Silverado SS (didn't even have to downshift out of 5th on the highway)
Bolton and tuned Turbo Baja (yes Subaru truck thingy, pretty quick too)
Bolton civic hatch, might have been a diesel with all the smoke (stayed in 5th)

Its a car with a lot of potential but not much power stock.

The SR20DET was an amazing engine.

But the most important thing to know about a S15 is that a RB25DETT will fit in the engine bay

Yeah but at least if its an LS1 you can tell. I was really hoping it was going to be fast. I haven't lost yet, and its kind of weird feeling, I mean this car's not fast. More people should find me once I have a non-stock exhaust.

You want to race my friends 600 hp KA 240? . Maybe my friends 500ish SR20 240? They're fast depending on whats done to it. All the 240's here are fast. Some one here has an LS1 240. It's sick! Man all the 240s here are fast. My friends 240 was running 13's on the stock engine before it blew. He's been rebuilding it it should be done this week.

the KA's are better then the SRs. More displacement. My friends KA would spank on SR's. Now he's fully built he's going to be running time attack.

This is the definition of 240SX.

I know a couple guys who have them and all have different setups. Turbo LS1, RB26DETT, KA24DET, SR20DET. N/A KA's can be fast but it's not often you find one that is. I know a guy with a SR20DET pushing 8psi and it's alright nothing special. Then theres the guy who took the RB26 out to drop in an LS1. That car is pretty freaking fast. Not as fast as his LS6 EK hatch but still faster than his LQ9 Impreza

From his exhaust it sounded like he was and we kind of lined up. It was from like 80-100 something, not exactly the forte of something with the aerodynamics of a brick.

Why I'd love some of that Import buffet I'm just messing, I don't hate imports that much. All the 240's around here talk like they are the fastest thing in the world but are actually slower then dog****.

not even true. doesnt matter if it a brick or not

ur m62 supercharged cavi would not come close to a SS silverado. especially in 5 th gear.

Maybe he was cruise control racing u.
