Intense Cobalt ss.sc vs 06 Rsx Type S

Okay, first of all let me say that I used to race this kid all the time and I could only pull like 1 car on him from 40 to 120. Why I donnu why , his mods are headers, intake and exhaust. and the 06s have the type r cams with it so it runs harder than the 05s. Well today I raced him and I had my intense kit on. Lets just say I put no less than 5 cars on him from 40 to 120. so there I saw for sure how much I gained wiith the kit.

nice, but is that kit really worth voiding your warranty? I mean i want my car to be my daily driver for a couple years so i wont do anything that would void it.

i dont get you guys and this clutch thing...unless you beat the **** out of the thing on launch and let it slip alot...you shouldnt have that big of a problem jumping up 50 horses from stock...i mean, yes you eventually will but you guys act like its instant clutch death or something...

There was an 05 RSX at the track and he was running mostly 15.4's and 1 14.9 but he only trapped at 94mph....so stock for stock a RL or SS/SC is a lot faster of a car. Since most of us trap between 96-98 stock.

the install was not too complicated at all, i did get the plug and play and kit. it did take us 8 hrs to complete it tho. lol. To many little problems. I did it with a couple of friends along with my buddy the pulley puller. and I mean to say the rsx ran harder than the 04s rsxs which come with diff cams. 05 and 06 are type r cams. the clutch is fine. im not gona be launching the car at all. only from 2nd gear rolls. and by the way my friend in the rsx ran a 14.1 at moroso i have slips to prove it. he ran this with the same mods he has right now.

There is no difference between the 05 and 06 cams, its between the 04 and 05 that they made the changes. The cams arnt the exact same, but they are close. So weather it was an 05 or 06 has nothing to do with it, the difference is between the 04 and 05+.

He was a crappy driver then, my friend has an 05 RSX-S and he runs 14.3 all day long on stock tires, all he has is intake and header, he made 207 whp and 154wtq.

His best time so far is 14.3 @ 100, so the person you saw, sucks at driving.

My other friend has an 05 Civic Si with the same mods (the Civic Si's have the SAME motor the Base RSX's have making 160 Crankhp) and he ran 15.5 on stock tires....

And its not.
