Was out getting some beer, and on the way back, I saw a tinted out Red GTO. It had to be the 5.7liter cause I got him.. It was as shitty start, so thats part of the reason I pulled so easily, but I pulled all the way through 3rd gear, and by the end of it, I was a good car in front. It would have been more, but It was like a 65mph roll, so I didnt really start in my sweet spot. And I think he had a bad start too, cause he shifted like 3k rpm before i did.(not that our gearing is similar).

Still, it was fun cause I knew he thought of me as another ricer, and I got to show him my tail lights.. huzzah for the Balt!

i can see it! and i own a 04 gto m12 6sp. though i have never been beaten by a cobalt ss. not that i had raced the right one. you can make anything fast with enough bloody money!!! and even if you do have enough money you still have to learn how to drive your vehicle. i would have to say either he had no traction or was just plane stock with a auto, or he just plain could not drive... now i am not takeing sides as you all mostly think we do. a stock srt-4 will spank the sh@@#t out of a stock cobalt ss, seen it done many times with drivers that no how to drive. (there is alway's someone else faster)??? no matter what you may drive... congrats on the win!!!
