Lancer Evolution X vs rsx-s?!

my evo is cobb stage 1 93 map

i raced an rsx-s from a 80 mph roll.

from 80-130 he got a 1 1/2 car jump i reeled him in and put 1 car before we shut down at 130

his car seemed faster on our second run tho

we ran from 80-155

we took off at the same time, i pulled 1/2 car until 120 from 120-140 he pulled back to my rear passenger door and stayed there until 155.

his car was not supercharghed or turbocharged, it wasnt too loud either?? i've raced full bolt on k20 si before and the race isnt close at all....

what did he have done?! does anyone know a bit about these cars?

anyways props to him for running a quiet non f/i car so fast

i raced him back when i had my ss/sc, he put a few buses on me then

Thats weird, like other said its probably nitrous, a stock one would be a few bus lenght behind.

So when we are gonna race? im in anytime
If you trap 106-108 you will get me on stock tune.

maybe he just has a quiet exhaust? not all civic and rsx-s have loud cars. and a cam doesnt make the car that loud either. if he had full bolt ons and cams with kpro then thats probably why he kept up. i mean, im not saying nitrous is out of the question either. rsx-s are usually faster than civic si's because kpro is vastly superior to flashpro (rsx tuning software vs civic si tuning)

an 80 roll on a cobb stage 1? sounds about right to me. the RSX has good top end. the Evo X is slow from a roll. bolt ons and a real tune and it should be different. i swear bone stock my MS3 was faster from a roll than a bone stock Evo X.

Yes an 80 roll, we were both crusing i was merging on to the highway at 80 he happend to be next to me cruising at the same speed. Empty roads ... Not the best place for me to start lol im only installing my fp red turbo kit in the spring. For now im putting on a few bolt ons.

I don't think so! Maybe with nitrous. Mid to high 12s n/a is as good as it gets. These are built motors also with the cars interior stripped, running slicks..

Damn. That's pretty high. Not an AWDs strong point.

nope, but rsx-s usually arent that strong either. so i figured it should be fun. it was a chance race as well, just right place at the right time. i had to race him, didnt care from where because he beat me in my ss/sc pretty bad lol.

There was an all motor civic si hatch style that went 11.9 at our track. Not unheard of.

Those are everywhere. We're talking about an RSX.
