Last race in the Balt.......... for now

Ok Lined up on the highway with a yellow srt4... I know Yellow SRT vs a Yellow Balt
ok any way SRT4- Intake, Mopar stage 2, BOV
Me in the sig

#1 3rd gear me by 2 car legnths
#2 2nd gear me by 4 car legnths
#3 3rd gear me by 1 1/2 legnths
#4 2nd gear me by 4 1/2

Ok Pulled off at th same exit and talked for a while went this way
SRT4- You got work done to that?
Me- yea 2.7 maxin at 20 lbs of boost
SRT4- you had to that thing is nasty!
Me- what you got done?
SRT4- Stage 2 and an intake
Me- Nice run, love that color
Srt4- thanks I'll se you around

Rode on light as a feather and then disaster struck in cylynder 4 it has a hole burned in it so on comes the SSuper SSecret parts

maybe it needs the 60lb injectors and colder plugs? just making suggestions, not pretending to know what went wrong.

I think having the 60lb. injectors would of helped as well. I don't see the tuning being an issue here.

Or floated a valve that made contact with the piston ! Our tune is not aggressive enough to burn a hole in the piston with timing or a/f in the 11's .

Also to each his own but on my car the injectors didn't go static and the car had colder plugs the solution to all problems isn't always dump fuel on it... sometimes it is but as it has been stated the tune was not aggressive enough to do that... mind you my balt was bought used.... only 8 k but used so who knows if he was like me it isn't to hard to believe

is there a general rule on stage kits etc.? b/c i was thinking about the gmpp stage 2 (for the warranty) and then dropping in a smaller pulley and bigger injectors when my warranty is up. But how small of a pulley will work on the 42lbs injectors that the stage II has?

Ouch man, sorry to hear. That sucks mad *****. How did you know that happened? Do you know what its gonna cost to get fixed? What is your redline @ and how many degree's of timing you got on your tune?
