Latest kills with the TVS setup
It is really quite hear at work this morning so I thought I would post some of my races. Had the TVS on for about a week and a half. Getting it Dyno'd on Tues I am really interested in what the numbers will be.
1) C-6 50-120mph...he slowly walked away from me about 2.5-3 cars and then I stayed 3 cars behind until shut down at 120. The tune was not final at this point I was still data logging with Vince. I would really like to do this race again now everything is finished.
2) 2008 GTI...40-110ish...I was not even trying to get into this race kid kept pissing me off even my wife was like alright loose this fool. End result was bus lengths his headlights were way back in the distance. I had time to slow down to 80 before he final caught back up and did a ricer flyby.
3) EVO 8...MODS???? Def had cat back from 60-120 3 cars...Then from a dig at the light
jumped ahead 3 to 4 cars finally matched his speed at the top of 2nd. By the time I topped out in 3rd around 105 I was passing him at 120 about 1 to 1.5 cars in front.
4) EVO 7...(my buddies ride) MODS header and full exhaust bolt on's tunned 20psi dyno'd 320 to the wheels. 1st pull from 65-???? he pulled 1/2 a car from the get go at the top of 3rd we were door to door. Into 4th he pulled almost half a car again and top of fourth we were door to door. 2nd pull from 40 ended up at the top of 2nd I was ahead just over 1/2 a car and the top of 3rd 1 to 1.5 cars ahead. The last time I raced him before the TVS he put 3 to 4 cars on me that was from 60-100ish.
5) New shape Mazdaspeed 3 this morning on the way to work...I just felt like going fast this morning on the highway passed this guy next thing I know he pulls out behind me and comes flying up. I moved over he got beside me I gave it a little gas to let him know that I was down for a little run (this run started at 65mph). He took off I let him have the jump he was ahead all of like 2 secs. I hit the top of 3rd I was 1 almost 2 cars ahead I started to let off when in 4th a little. He came on the old flybe with thumbs down to me. I hit the gas again in forth gear by the time it was over i had passed him again and put another 1 to 1.5 cars on him gave him the maverick salute
when I passed him and then let off and he came flying by he did not look this time.
Overall I am very happy. The setup feels great and I will let you all know the numbers when I get the dyno on tues. Also I think I need the invest in a video camera as none of my friends have one and obviously I do not have one...If you would all would like to suggest one please let me know.

Havent reciently, but i use to. I dont go down that way much any more since i dont work at antwerpen vw now, but every now and then ill go. Do you know the guy running a white volvo i dont know what hes got done but he beat my buddys cobalt from a dig for $100. i usually go the the car meets on route 40 at the pepboys on sundays.

He has gm stage 2, full exhaust, cai, stage 2 clutch and 8.5 lb flywheel. I have basically the same mods just not the flywheel. But the volvo launched and his cobalt was left behind. I drove his cobalt and the flywheel makes launching hard as hell it just wants to spin because the rpms go up too fast, but still that volvo was fast as hell.
