I was at a light and sitting next to a pretty little red Honda SI. It had an exhaust and at the start I hear the exhaust rip and said "here we go". I punch it immediately putting the red car behind by a multitude of car lengths lol. BUT whats this, as im 1/3 of the way into 2nd gear I see blue lights behind me and then quickly shift into the left lane. I throw it into third (no lift shift, woops) and I look left and there is a brand new BMW M6. ****. I throw into 4th, the BMW is slowly pulling on me and and I am losing my lead, I still have half a car on him and I slowed his steady crawl to inches. We are both racing for the lane merger. I hear a POP, I pass it off as a backfire. I hit the brakes and merge behind him.....

#1 this dude was crazy, he wasnt going to let me over even if I had a half car on him. He's driving his 120k sports car convertible living out his midlife crisis dream racing cobalts. He dont give a **** if he runs me off the road.

#2 I lost boost after the pop I drive a half mile down the road, BMW still racing nothing right off into the distance. I open the hood, no oil, no strange smells, no strange noises. Must be boost leak. Sure enough I get to work, the hotside to intercooler popped completely off. Looks like I have some work to do after work

the honda passed me and put lengths on me while I was pulled over on the side of the road.


I at least held my half length car lead till the merger haha. The outcome was obvious if we took it to 180mph

Did the same thing after getting tuned a few years ago. Loud as hell when it blows off.
