Yes this is a different black LS3 Camaro SS than the other video, that one was H/C/I auto. This one is cam only 6 speed.

This is about what I thought would happen - good pull with a slow reel-in up top. Great races, well matched drivers and a great comparison between both cars.
And good job on actually catching VISIBLE night runs!

I dont understand shouldnt the cobalt be pulling the camaro bad? Is that a small turbo? Camaros are heavy and even with the bolt ons it seems like a turbo upgraded c16 lnf should have still pulled him. Vettes are good for mid to low 12's and they weigh about 2-300 lbs less than that camaro WITH the ls3.
What numbers and 1/4 from the cobalt and camaro?

Makes no sense that the camaro pulled the lnf.
Well the Cobalt pulls initially (power-to-weight), but then the Camaro pulled up top (higher hp). I see nothing unusual here.
It's the same reason we can pull bikes. They'll pull hard at first because of power to weight, but get up to high speed and the tides turn in favor of the car with more power.

Without pushing that turbo hard and running ethanol, it's not going to make the hero numbers. We also don't know who is doing the calibrating.
Either way, the cobalt ran hard and it was a great video.
Maybe, maybe not. With how fast the turbo spools the issue would be the needed fuel at the 4000 rpm range where all the torque is getting made. The cams can support 475 ish hp on e85.
I've used E47, at about 25 psi is where the stock fuel system is maxed out. I hit 415whp 435wtq on that set up. I've tuned for 100 octane at 29 psi as well maxing out the fuel system too. Maybe in the 450whp range. I'm pretty sure the cams/valves and fuel lobe will provide enough fuel. Ford is running full e85 on his s256 at 28 psi at times. He hit 500whp.

At 27psi and race gas that car should be closer to the 440 mark. A local here is making ~410/425 on e47 and 23-24 psi.
I forgot to put that he had cams in the video...oh well. He is running race gas because we are down at TX2K and he wanted to **** **** up. Tune is still conservative, 450ish whp. It's only 102 octane because the 110 he bought was leaded and couldn't run that.
He's already got a couple quickies in down here, I'll put together a video after the next 2 nights of racing.
