Lost yet another race
Lost yet another race
I was crusing minding my own business, when this guy in a dodge magnum 5.7 hemi goes past me doing like 80. (i was doing like 60). So I follow him (defeats the purpose of me saying i was minding my own business). He was about 50 ish in age so I was curious to see if he would go. And sure enough he did. We went from about 60 all the way to about 110 120ish. He was in front of me i'd say half a car length. Not much but still beat me.
Moral of the story: I must save more money for mods since station wagons are faster. But good run though.

I didn't expect to win. Trust me, I never expect to win. Look at all my races in my profile lol. I've lost so many but that's just because I want to see how well my car does with these fast cars. I learned a lesson from this. Must mod in order to keep up with the big dogs. But just because it's 3.7 liters more doesnt mean squat. Look at the lotus elises. 190hp and don't they do 0-60 in like 4.8 seconds and 1/4 miles in the 13's? You have to factor in weight and gear ratios too, and areodynamics.

I beat dump trucks and 18 wheelers all the time their displacement is much more than mine, they have more cylinders and forced induction .... do you think there might be more to it than displacement ....????
sigh, why compare my statement to something that's obviously gonna lose AKA 18 WHEELERS.
I know weight / gearing also need to be accounted for, but its a car he was racing, not an 18 wheeler with 10k lbs. of **** in the back.

BUT IT HAD MRE DISPLACEMENT AND LOST OMG !!!!!!!!
I'm just giving you a hard time, becasue for some reason on this site allot of people seem to think the car with more displacement or more power is allways going to win regarless of all of the factors that go into making a car fast
