Loud SS/SC Got Spunk
Loud SS/SC Got Spunk
I got my car couple weeks ago, it's an 05 Cobalt SS, with a Catback, retuned STG II, and some little tweaking to tire width and ignition on my part I'd guess she puts down 260ish. Car is still mystery, it's special case of what did that guy do to my car before I got it...
Anyways took on a bone stock 02 GT Mustang, won by about 2 cars, and a Cobalt SS TC, which was boosted higher than stock to my knowledge much more challenge, but lacking the torque really hurt him in the first curves of the run.
Overall I am sitting on my Cobalt wondering why waste gas and time on Honda's, when Camaro's and Mustangs usually sport more fun, granted can't race good tune SC/TC V-8 I still have fun.

maybe it was an ottp stage 2 with all the goodies maybe some tb spacers, cai, comp cam, lightweight pulley system, lightweight fly wheel, exedy perf. clutch, torq. damp., and possibly some weight reduction........ idk, just a thought

Doubt it pn a regular stage 2 lsj. The GT driver either had NO tires or he cannot drive. Period.

A new edge GT by 2 cars on GMS2, eh?
The SS/TC lacks low end too, huh?
Strange because the TC is making 260 down low, and I beat a new edge GT by 10+ cars on the highway in an airbox/ported blower only car.

NX Express Intercooler Sprayer, Dual Pass intercooler, 245/18/45 BF Goodrich KDW's, Spacer, and CenterForce DFX Clutch Kit. But no big power mods not already mentioned otherwise installed, planning on the Harrop Jump in Dec, with new CX Intercooler, NX 75 Shot, SLP Header, and Injen CAI. That's the goal... I dyno run her in Dec, will post the Before and After.
Looking for the CA stg kits, particularly the final ones... And of course at some point in the process of applying all these parts I'm hunting down a good valvetrain...
But that's a big picture, I'm planning it out in a spaced out piece by piece process...
