I have a 2007 LSJ and I have only a short shifter and dual fart cans. So kids are always wanting to race me. So I do entertain them most the time. Living Dallas there is an ass ton of freaking Hondas that are owned by 16 year old kids that cant drive for ****.
I am at the gas station last night and this kid in a blue Elantra walks over to me ask what I got under the hood. So I tell him SS/SC and he asks the horse power and say 180 or 190 at the wheel. Then he has the ***** to say that his car has 198 horses at the wheel. Okay so I am not an ******* and I say man thats great. Then he talks a whole bunch of **** saying that he has added a fuel management and rebuilt the motor himself and he is gonna add a turbo or a SC and at the same time need money for gas....

I ask him if he wanted to race and he said nah you got a super charger.....Okay good bye and I start out of the gas station and he is on my ass... Pulls up beside me and from a 20 roll
we go at it...I eat his lunch and he says the only reason I beat him was because I have a SC!!!!I didnt even tell him I had my AC on.....
I laugh and go home!!!!!

I'm pretty sure it isn't even close to anything reasonable.

An 09 Elantra has 138 HP.

He has probably beat a few Hondas and feels amazing.

He doesn't know his place.

 

he might need some new plugs and a fuel cleaner. possibly a tb cleaning lol. hell a whole tune up. cause come on...

I can tell you from ABSOLUTE experience, those beta motors wether they're in elantras or tiburons will NEVER break 200whp or even get that close to that.. with the mods they got out there, which is far and few between, the only thing they can do is get a supercharger from seoulfulracing to break that 200whp (240whp i believe). That kid was ****** with you, you should have told him to go suck an egg and make love to his elantra. Elantras have NO AFTERMARKET support. you cant even get a CAI, you have to get an 94-97' Honda Accord CAI which will fit perfectly. lol. "I have 198whp", what a ***.
