So, are you being serious about the Lambo or what? Because if you are, you are on some other planet. I love my car but it's still a Cobalt. It ain't no super car...

Also, I cut a 2.1 60' at Bandi with 36 up front and 40 in the rear. With only the ETD. I have the slip to prove it. It takes time to really learn how to launch and put all that SC power to the ground.

Edit: To the thread starter, Nice Win!

The Lambo owner probably thought to himself "I'm not going to waste my time racing this putz in the cobalt." That's why he backed down, lol.

I checked out the Gallardo on Cars.com, as I think it's a great site to get quick specs on pretty much any production car in the last 20 years or so, and I loved their comments...

What We Like
+ More affordable than the Murciélago
+ Performance
+ Handling
+ Dramatic appearance

What We Don't
- Pending further review

Anyway, it's only about 200 lbs more than a Cobalt, and it has damn near 500 hp. (I'm looking at an '04 here for benefit of the doubt...newer ones are even more powerful) They will consistently trap 117+, and it's not too rare to see it trap over 120 mph in the 1/4. No Cobalt on this site can keep up with that at this time.

Maybe on Long Island they're all de-tuned to 300 hp so they don't go too fast and fly into the ocean.

the following is to address a number of comments made by wheelhoppinss in this thread-

you know how i know your gay?

1. you brag about a driver mod stage 3, we all know driver mod stage 4 is where its at...
2. you seem to think an awd car with 500 hp will only cut a 1.9 60 foot, my buddy with his 2002 wrx with only a turboback has cut 1.7's
3. you brag about cutting a 2.4 60 on stock tires
4. you brag about racing people, and claim you know people who try to find people who beat on their ss's, yet you won't post mods because it will void your warranty, ever heard of voiding because of abuse? that does not stop because its off the track...
5. you can not spell digs, retarded, or isn't
6. tofu laughed at you, he never makes fun of people on here
7. you typed the word sells'em

go for it. you obviously have no idea what you are talking about. a gallardo easily runs low 12's. he will be at 125 before you hit 100 if you race from a roll. you are going to get owned, you obviously know nothing.

I have, and even in the power-sapping summer weather here, they still routinely trap over 110 mph. Again, forget the advantage they have from a dig - if you can't trap over 110 mph in the 1/4, you have no chance of hanging with one. If you did, he was toying with you, and feeding your ego because he's obviously comfortable with his purchase.

it's amazing all the bs on every car website, not just this one.
mid 13's on a stock SS is bs too. dr's good for what .2 seconds?

But more than anything, someone said an M3 was a 12 second car. Really?
Maybe on a 6% downgrade. M3's wont touch 12's stock.

Nice win for the original poster though.

Rick

I beat an F-117 Stealth bomber. I mean I went to race one but he got scurred when i pulled.

Seriously, props man. You didn't just go for pretty unrealistic like a Z06 or something, you went ***** to the walls and pulled something totally unrealistic out your ass. I mean geez, a Lambo, lol....do you eat GT2's for lunch also?

ok guys lets just drop it. this thread is just getting gay and old... m3 will run 13.3 seconds never a high 12 stock.. if he went to say he pulled on a Z06 that would be more unrealistic by the way cause a c6 Z06 is faster than a galardo, galardo runs 12.2 i believe and the new Z06 11.7. the morciolago (lol spelling) on the other hand will be in Z06 category.. im not supporting the guy by any means but i think some people think certain cars are super duper fast cause of name brand. even though a lambo is super duper fast compared to our cobalts..lol i dont even know why were comparing our cars to a lambo anyway its so stupid.
