I feel its def possible...i was messing with a guy in my clubs 12 second auto Z28...and the auto has such a dead spot in it...i pulled on him and kept him off for awhile from like a 60 roll

 

Well it's possible that he tried too hard to launch and just sat there spinning and you got a jump, but I doubt it took until 100 for it to catch up. I just don't see that 239HP on a Dynojet is going to be enough for that.

Exactly how did you determine it was the SRT exhaust? And they do make an "SRT Design" package which has badges very similar to the SRT ones, and the cars look very similar.

The SRT's are auto-stick...HUGE difference in just punching it while driving down the road and actually downshifting into a lower gear. I would agree that they have the same deadspot feel to them if you just punch it though.

Okay, obviously I didn't look under the hood to make sure. I just know it had the SRT-8 badges. and Dodge badges. and Charger badges. lol. I don't know so many are getting butthurt... do you own a charger? haha... chill though, I know fluke races happen all the time. I've been in some of them!

if it was a short burst like 20-80 or something like that i may agree if he was caught in a higher gear or something, but how the hell do you beat the driver in a car that will out trap the balt by an easy 8mph average, and can run 12's bone stock with a 5-speed auto in a race from 0-100+.

 

Those cars handle their "obesity" just fine. They might be big, but they are pretty damn quick.

 

hahah How the hell couldnt you beat the driver? If you are doing a roll and you dont kick it down before you go then you have to wait for it to shift down and then go. Makes a hella difference

 

not a full second difference unless the driver was a chimp. which is the only way this happened, so tuche!
