OK my mods are in my signature

The Mustang has
Full exhaust
Dyno Tune
Throttle body
Bigger MAF

Said to be around 270 whp.


Hes talking crap about my car, and im think about letting him see what my little "4 banger that has to be supercharged just to run with him" can do

Roll might be a drivers race, dig he would probably take you. Do both and see what happens. His mustang probably just sounds meaner than it really is.

Yeah it sounds built. But it aint. He seems to like to race with no traction control. Ive seen him kick it and he doesnt really go anywhere

considering these three mods do virtually nothing for his car NA:

Dyno Tune
Throttle body
Bigger MAF


You should have him, especially from a roll. No gears? If not, he should get spanked. Throttle body is a paperweight on the NA engines.

Yeah he goes from Mustang to Mustang with the same parts. He says hes getting heads and cams. And then hes going to supercharger it not long after that. But thats all talk.

No. Im probably running bad. But stronger than ever since its cold down here. its weird in the summer i have a misfire on every cylinder CEL. And in the winter, it goes away.

why do you say those do nothing? i dont know much about the stangs, but if the tuner was able to get a few more degrees of timing out of his new setup i can see it helping

Yeah Gears for a Stang are a big thing.

id leave your pully swapping alone then, you have no idea if you are lean already, not a good idea to pulley down

I think my car would run better with a 2.8 i got instead of the 2.9 i have on the car. Especially with the 60's. But thats kind of common sense

no, theres not enough compression in a stock NA 4.6l. The engines are weak without power adders, and having those mods does virtually nothing considering theres very little air flow through the manifold to begin with.

Unless hes FI, a throttle body does little to nothing for him. In some cases people have lost power running a different throttle body.

I used to have an 01 cobra, I did a little research on this. If u want to go NA, you have to go high compression pistons, port it, rods, gears, and a whole bunch of other parts to make good power.

If you want to go FI, you have to go lower compression or stock pistons and rods.

All the 4.6l modular motors are low compression thus they take so well to boost.

From a stop he will kick your ass due to the lack of torque, but from a roll you might be able to get him.

Oh im dyno tuned to my 2.9 but im just saying that it would be better if i went with a 2.8 with 60's than a 2.9.

But yet not without tuning.

I think from a 40 roll, ill eat him alive
