Me vs built/fully bolted srt4

Met up with some of my buddies and he brung a bunch of friends with srt4's.. I ran the fastest one which was a built bottom end, ported head, intake Manu, etc etc, and was fully bolted, ready for a 50trim, he said...

We get on the highway run from a 2nd gear 30... I spun bad in 2nd, he had half a car in 2nd once I banged 3rd I pulled 2 cars, by 4th I had maybe 3 1/2 cars on him. We do another pull from 3rd, I pull him immediately , a good 3 cars by the time I hit 4th. Then we do a 1st gear 20 and he hangs with me til 3rd, and I get the same outcome.

All in all it was a good time!! Haven't lost a race yet!!

Very proud of my little cobalt

Get the photobucket App. Easy to upload to photobucket, then photobucket makes special http code to just post in here and it shows for use to click play on. I wanna see man. Good Kill!

Nice win! i whomped on 5 diffrent set up srt4's till they brought out the big daddy 50 trim srt4 which was suppose to be the second fastest one in town. When you run that skittle with the 50trim you gotta bring a camera this time dood! the 50trim made my gms1 look slow haha!
all the srt4's i have ran are only neons too so that sucks a little

A guy here runs mid 12s on pump gas with his nSRT4. He's running 20 psi on a turbonetics 50 trim. That guy must not know what he's doing or the tune sucks.

Well street tires with pump gas it's pretty good. What's your car run in the quarter with you driving it? Turbonetics is a shitty 50 trim too. It's like the least flowing one out there. If that was say a s256et or s259 I'm sure low 12s would be easy. A stock turbo cobalt isn't going to touch that....

All I'm saying is a 50 trim neon will beat probably 90% of the stock turbo cobalts if the driver isn't retarded. I raced that guy from a roll when I had my Dsm and it was pretty much even. I ran mid 11's. They're no joke once they get traction.
