Me vs early 90s supra

I was coming home today from work when a kid pulled up next to me at a stop light in an early 90's, white toyota supra. I looked over at the car for a sec and sure enough, he starts to feather the gas pedal. I kinda just rolled my eyes. We both turn to get on the highway, im going about 35ish in 2nd when I hear his exhaust (From what I could tell he had an exhaust and a bov and or intake) get loud..... I see him start to move past me, I drop the hammer and I pull on him pretty good. I shifted into 3rd and he was still getting further and further away in my mirrors. I expected that car to be faster. Should it have been? Only mod I have is an injen cai. Anyways, thought I would share that guys.

Well it as an early 90's supra it wouldnt be THAT fast unless some money was invested. Probably fairly stock but good kill.

Those cars are bricks.
There is a local guy around here with a 90 supra, fairly built, with a big turbo... he claims over 300WHP (claims being the key word)...
Anyways, he's not that fast... many guys in the local car club have wasted him bad.

Anyways... good race...

uhhh...a built 1jz with a big turbo would make well over 300whp easy. extremely easily. Just because the 2jz is godly doesn't mean the previous motor was crap.

Im pretty sure intake and exhuast on a stock turbo engine isnt gunna put down 430. Sorry. I like them alot though. Thought about getting one for a project car.

Maybe. Maybe not. Maybe he had a fully built 12,000whp v-16 under the hood. All I know is he SOUNDED like he was trying, and he was not able to keep up. Im not saying I raped him but I was def walking him.
