Me vs. Friends Camaro z28
My car:
SS/SC
GM Stage 2, etc. nothing major besides that.
~240hp/2xxtq (didnt get dynoed, not sure of exact numbers)
His car:
2002 Camaro z28
Headers, exhaust, tuned.
320hp/3xxtq
I want to race him because he keeps knocking on the 4cyl. I think it will be close - what do you all think?

I believe the word everyone is choking on and can't quite get out is your screwed. I would race him anyways for future reference but a full exhaust and tuned LS1 F-bod would no doubt have a only stage 2 cobalt covered by a descent amount. On second thought maybe don't race him, if he is already giving you **** imagine the **** you will get if you do race and he yanks you kinda bad... Put it this way, he would be a good run with a bolted and tuned TC if that helps clear anything up?

You will lose, but it will be fun fo sho!
One of my best friends has a really clean 99 Z28 with intake, catback, and a mild tune and even on my 2.7 and meth I can barely pull 2-3 cars on him from 40-115. When I was stage 2 with full exhaust and he didnt even have the tune he would still pull me, especially up top.
Add headers to that on the camaro and he will pull even harder. But do it and tape it anyways, there is no shame in losing.

Try to get em to go from a spot thats not good for him, but its good for you. Probably will be your only chance. That things gonna pull good. If all else fails PIT manuever his ass.

yeah its been raining in jersey so we cant really race right now - hopefully later in the week when it gets dry we can race. ill be sure to tape it no worries..
his car is sweet and yeah hes gonna spank me i drove it yesterday. its an auto so not that much fun without shifting and all but its still real fun and sounds awesome. didnt know he ran 12's at the track lmao. ill keep you all updated.
