this one is very funny LOL, on my way to work today i get to a traffic light and i see a young kid in RX-8 i did not think nothing u know im goin to work, but this kid get behind me and cuts off onother car to get besides me @ the traffic light and starts rev the engine all the way to rev limiter, im thinking i dont want to race but he keeps rev the engine so i go what the heck lets open a can of whoop ass on this kid. when light turn green he takes off like a bat out hell spinning his tires and all,then i get on it had a great launch no wheel hop or spinning tires,hit second gear passed him like he was standing still put like 2 cars on him and then let off.i slowed down to let him catch up but stayed back,i slowed down some more but he stayed back. so probably this kid thought that i was slow because i have a Cobalt with a big wing HAHAHA!NOT! he recieved a nice surprise

 

nice kill, when i was in the market for getting a new car i test drove one and was unimpressed with the power it had, but the damn car did handle good. im glad i ended up with a new cobalt ss s/c instead of a used rx-8

I drive my bosses RX-8 all the time and its dissapointing how SLOW it is. But it handles pretty good at least.

my fiancee has one with CAI and cat-back, they're dogs but really fun to rev to 9k and they drive and handle awesome. they're fun but don't expect them to be OMG fast unless there's a 20b under the hood.
