Me vs STI

So I dropped off my friends at home and started making the 15 min drive back to my house. Suddenly coming out of a King Soopers parking lot on to the Wadsworth Blvd I see this blue light black car spin it's wheels.

We toy around for a bit then I roll down my windows and we smile and say what's up. Cool this guys isn't a douche I think to myself.

Anyway I say, do you guys wanna go? He says yes, but lets take it to the highway. So I follow him to I-70 and we find a clear straight road which didn't really happen until we got closer to the mountains.

Anyway long story short, I honked it off 3 times, pulled on him all through 3rd then shifted into fourth and then he took off on me. We did 3 runs all with the same results. 3rd gear I'd pull on him slightly then shift into fourth and he'd take off

I'd say I lost because we took 3rd all the way to fourth and then once fourth hit he pulled pretty easily.

I had fun, we pulled over and talked. He didn't even know GM had a turbo version of my car etc. Told him what I had (in Sig) and he told me he's tuned, intake exhaust, downpipe, gauges, intercooler, injectors and something else can't remember. He was a cool guy. He's part of his own team and asked if I wanted to join. I told him sure, but I won't. Just being polite. Plus he didn't even get my number so I can't anyway.

these two mods make a BIG difference in power.

Sti with said mods in original post will make 310-325 awhp (dynojet) with power dying up top

With the addition of an equal length header and E85 + tuning the same STi would make around 350-360 awhp with a MUCH better powerband and much better top end

hey give me more details about the car, color, year, possible drivers name and Ill get the info here.
Also, most of the sti's here, and theres a **** ton, are stockish. main bolt ons. my sc really never gets walked by them. but there are the occasional bad ones out there. met a girl, silver sti, pink stockers, daddy built 575 awhp. sick, left me feeling inadequate. but seriously give me some details and I can find out who owns it and whats all done.

So, if I had Trifecta I'd be a lot faster than ZZP? ZZP told me they'll update my tune for free, but they have to basically guess because it's not being datalogged

Also the guys STI looked like a 2007, not exactly sure what year, but he had hood scoop and headlights like that

You are on crack if you think a headers and E85 are going to take a stock STi from 230WHP to 360WHP.

Doesn't happen.

The stock downpipe won't even support that much power, nevermind the rest of the engine.

Tuned STi's with a downpipe will make 275WHP.

Adding E85 and headers, which most STI owners will tell you are a waste of time, will not get you those numbers.

@ sst, i thought Stock STi's had way more whp than 230, i thought they sat around at least 270-285... its a question not a correction... and i got a dumber question e85 usually comes stock on some chevy rite?
