Just thought I'd post this over here as well since there are a couple LSJs involved. Had some fun yesterday with some friends after a nice car show. Hope you enjoy.

There was supposed to be a race between that LS2 Camaro in the video and a turbo LS1 t/a, but there were a couple issues...Camaro blew the input shaft (it was the stocker) and the trans am blew his brake booster off when he was brake boosting...hence him going nowhere. lol Here's the video:

Niceeee. Im dissapointed with that ion tho. My ss/tc runs away from g8gt's pretty easy, even with light mods on them.

That may be true, just keep in mind that it's LSJ vs LNF if you'd like to compare yours to his. Heatsoak may have been an issue as he had a couple runs and it was 90+ outside.

 

Thanks. Honestly i didnt even hear the whine of the Supercharger in the orange cobalt when you were running him...assuming he was racing starting at reallyyyyy low RPM's?

 

None of the cars were mine, I was the cameraman. Can't speak for what RPM he was leaving from.

I have since found out his mods were just "airbox mod and muffler" so that would keep the blower pretty quiet too.

i am also disappointed with the ion. 2.8 with e85 should be pretty beefy

 

300ish to the wheels, never been to the track/or dyno since I have been tuned. I've beaten many 5.7 Gto's, stock or bolt on ls1 f-bodies, every mustang I've encountered, lol. Wanting to run some comparable cars. I know of a couple more cars that would maybe like to have fun.
