Modded SS/SC vs. 07 Mustang GT
So....I have an 06 SS/SC putting down 250hp to the wheels. How would I do on a roll against a new Mustang GT? I already know I slaughter the older Mustangs, but what about the new ones? Maybe a 3rd gear roll from 50mph? Any ideas?

Sorry, meant a stage II belt. Yea, it'll do about 70mph in 2nd gear, and 111mph in 3rd. So, I dunno, boosting about 18PSI at max power. And I just mean a straight stock GT, maybe an intake or something bolt on. But let's just say a stock 05-09 Mustang GT.

Indeed I did. And my air-fuel ratio was near perfect. I don't have the dyno sheet anymore, got lost somewhere...but yea, I don't even have a CAI yet, just running on the airbox mod.

When I had my 03 srt4 - only mods were intake hard pipes and types bov, I walked the new GT's all day long. One almost got me from a 80 - 120 cause I didn't down shift.
But I walked all the rest without any problems.
So I was at around 235hp.
If that gives you any idea.

Back to the OP's question, from a roll it will be really really close, but from a dig you will lose everytime, aslong as there is a decent driver behind the wheel.

Oh from a dig it isn't a question. Given I have the LSD, but front wheel is a noob compared to RWD Stangs...I know this lol. My buddy has an '02 GT with Roush Body Kit, Exhaust and Intake and I roast him. But I've been keeping my eyes out for a new GT cause I am very interested to see the outcome. And even my friends '02 will take me from a dig haha

Sorry to say, but you must have raced alot of shitty drivers for you beat the new 05+ GT's in mild bolt on SRT-4. My younger Brother has an 05 SRT-4 with an intake, catless DP with electric cutout, tranny and motor mounts, lowering springs and lighter rims, and my 05 GT beats him. Granted I'm tuned with a couple mods, it takes alittle more than just 2 bolt ons to hang with a new GT.

For the OP with 250whp, i can see you taking him from a roll if the stang is stock. A tune and a cold air intake will put him almost at 300rhwp and it will be even or the stang may have the edge. From a dig with equal drivers you are toast

i agree with this fella, with only a few bolt ons and upped boost a srt4 is not gonna walk any S197 GT. Cmon fellas get real
