Well me and my buddy was on the way home from wal-mart. When all of a suddun a 200x Monte cut us right off to to make a left turn. And we were like WTF, so we turn behind him and then he waves us to the left hand lane.

So we pulled up and he took off!! Thats when i heard te S/C whine. And i looked at my buddy while he was driving and said what the hell! We caught up and the kid looks at us and sais 25lbs. I started laughing.

So then he does 3 honks takes off, my bud drops into 3rd and next thing you know this guy is maybe 2 cars behind us! Then we let him catch back up, and he sais wait till i get my smaller pully!!

I don't even know the guy and i was like "OK"!

I think i only spiked 10psi

 

I don't get it.

So what did you race him with? You say 'your bud drops into 3rd' then 'i only spiked 10psi'

And why would you say he dropped into 3rd gear right off the line? I'm confused, please explain your story better...

Well, my buddy was driving my car (turbo cavalier). It was from a 30mph roll.

Honestly he could have been in second. We were going pretty slow before he hit it, like i said i wasn't driving my buddy was... I was paying more attention to the monte.

Yeah probally raced the Limited Edtion 2006 Monte Carlo SS SuperCharged. It is not all the fast, but with some minor tuning and mods it can run nice. Good kill.

i usually dont get outta work till around 9 or so. fridays we meet at mci at 9 and leave at least by 9:30 so its not till later.

No, they do not push 25lbs, I doubt he was even really supercharged, the Monte SS's have a lot of vaccumm noise stock, they sound mildly blown. My GTP with the Gen 2 S/C will be less then a car behind from a 30 roll. And I think our blowers are like 6lbs.

 

I didn't think he pushed 25lbs... thats why i laughed at him. But it was def S/C'ed

I always wanted to race a GTP, one of the newer ones...GXP maybe? I can't remember, but they were supposed to be more badass than the older ones. This kid said that one would kill my old GSX when I was pushing 22psi (I had to laugh a little)
