Mustang Hunting

So idk if any of yall remember but at the beginning of winter I ran a 2010 Madzaspeed 3 and a 98 Cobra, I pulled 2 cars on the ms3 and got left by the cobra...alot of confusion as the cobra was only intake and straight piped..turns out the cobras kinda a factory freak as it ran down a ms3 with intake, exhaust, and tune and keeps up with LS1 cars...any ways turns out i was on a slipping s/c belt and had a terribly clogged cat, and honestly couldn't drive very well....now that its summer time and i got all of the fixed I wanted a rematch with the cobra...a 99 Cobra stock decided to join in ...camera is from 99 cobras car.

I believe the 98 Cobra's were N/A. How'd you lose? They a 14sec car stock.

More importantly, how did a tuned MS3 lose to it?

They are and like I said the car is a factory FREAK or the driver is an amazing grudge racer, I mean you can see it how it did here and trust me not the first time I've heard that (Hence why I wanted a rematch) but even though I won here it was only like half a car...and on the tuned MS3 race there was lots of money lost on the MS3 drivers side lol there were a lot of people that walked away mad and confused that night....I really want to run a different 98 cobra to compare because this one is pretty well known in Louisville now because of how quick it is

The van purposely went slow to be a douche, we blocked all three lanes and cruised at 35 for a few minutes to allow all the traffic to go across the bridge when the van saw us running I guess being an anti-Street racing douche he slowed way down to purposely be in the way.

yeah the cobra driver was a little shook up about it, and I agree wasn't the safest situation but it happens...and yeah I mean its just a M62 SS/SC so in no way are any of these cars "fast" id say quick is a better word, but the cobra is a factory freak, we've all assumed he was on spray but after looking under his hood and looking all through the car (When he was away ) we couldn't find any evidence, if it is he's hidden it VERY well.

They're pretty stout cars. I believe in 98 they were dohc. Nothing compared to a Coyote 5.0 though. Lil hard to believe you're faster than a fully bolted and tuned ms3 though. I think somewhere along the lines that ms3 wasn't running right.

i fail to see how a guy in a van is an ******* for doing the speed limit. it didn't look like he was going that slow..perhaps he slowed so you would see his brake lights because he was worried you didn't notice him doubling in size every second?

if and when i street race i have an understanding that not all drivers will agree with what i am doing if they witness it.

i don't expect other drivers to merge, pullover or speed up to accomidate my illegal behaviour.

that being said. just be smart and be safe about it. don't get upset if other drivers get upset with you for putting their lives at risk when you zoom by. sadly alot of street racers are inexperienced teenagers with cars that weren't designed to handle the speeds they push them.

/end lecture haha
