He'll probably take you. They are pretty heavy and slow for a turbo car but when modded they can be beast. Maybe if he's auto or cant' shift to well you could edge him out.

hard to say. 95% of old turbo eclipses have leaking rings, worn out turbos, slipping clutches, half plugged injectors and shot ignitions... you may be able to shock him

They were 14.4-14.8 cars with the average person running 14.5ish.

I think you will lose.

And if you go from a roll, it'll only be worse for you.

in fact, these were motor trends numbers in 1995

1995 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS-T (Auto) 7.4 15.5 (MT June, 94)
and for a GSX of the same year, a 14.9. neither of those times would scare me too too much.

What was the magazine that ran a 15 with a SS/SC.?

You can't go by this site
http://www.albeedigital.com/supercou...0-60times.html

A 98 Camaro Z28 runs a 13.7??

that site lists the same times that i just posted.

my biggest point is that DSMs don't exactly hold up well as-is, and a 95 is almost 14 years old... it's probably well beyond it's prime.
