my GTO (Maybellene) vs. a SRT-4 of all things..
It's probably not a good idea to pace a GTO that is fresh off of the dyno, not to mention Maybellene was a bit grumpy.
A black SRT-4 with no exhaust, black tinted tail lights, and very black tinted windows started pacing me as we were rolling down the road.
I told Maybellene not to look but it was to late, she noticed.
The SRT floored it and Maybellene followed suit, her rear end went side to side and then straightened and quickly jumped out a car then I got off.
Rolling further up the road the pesky neon again started pacing me, Maybellene now got angry...
From around a 30mph roll both cars got on it at the same time, Maybellene didn't get sideways this time but was spinning, the cars were neck and neck for a short time,
then Maybellene found some traction and a sensation overcame me and the car, something that is familiar in the red SRT, Maybellene converted into a runaway frieght train
and just ran away from this car, to say walked would be a understatement. Maybellene was a easy 5+ cars out in front and still pulling hard, it was getting very ugly, then she
let off with victory well in hand.
Maybellene had a 'Solid' run.

Remember, I only have a measely 2.0L, 4 cylinder Cobalt, be nice to me.
Maybe I need to run your Monte, then your little red SRT and finally Maybelline.
I don't believe I have heard how much the GTO is pushing now, so please tell me about "her"
The build up is still in progess, as a forged stroker motor is in the works and a built stalled auto tranny...
currently the car with the stock engine made this one a mere 6 psi from the dual 50trims, when the engine gets built, I'll turn it up to 18psi and make some serious power, but for now, Maybellene pulls very strong, and being a auto it is one continuous long and angry pull, never dropping boost, she is murder from a dig:

What are your hopes for her at 18psi?
I wish my wife was as speed crazy as you are.
at 18psi I hope to be in the 800's, but at that point in time I'll upgrade the snails and make more power, if all goes well...

Damn I wish APS had there kit out when I got my GTO. Only 6psi and 571rwhp I am pushing 10psi with the Procharger and I am only making 9rwhp more
She is set up to 60ft well with the Pedders Strip II package, 1inch front drop/ 5/16 inch rear raise, however I need a tire solution badly...

Yeah I was going to go that route. But since I road race I just set it up for that. I am also looking for a good street/track tire because the 555's cant hold the power coming out of the turns to good.
