First off...just stating that I come in peace.

I found a supercharged cobalt the other day in my turbo teg...it was red. My car looks completely stock. Intercooler is painted black, the works. I love being stealthy.

Anyways, the guy decides he wants to play with me. Traffic finally clears up and I drop it down to third and wait for him to take off...My car dynoed at 330 whp - engine is fully built. Very conservative tune.

Back on topic. I let the cobalt get a one car jump and then I gun it. By the end of 4th, I am passed him and walking away. I shut it down at the end of 4th.

Pretty fun race. We gave each other the thumbs up and went on our seperate ways. It was by far the closest race I've had yet even though it wasn't terribly close.

I honestly do like the supercharged cobalts. They have a lot of potential.

Thanks man. The block is built for over 600 whp but my clutch is only rated at 360 tq so I have to take it easy for a while until I can upgrade.

I'm not disclosing that for security reasons. Integras are stolen a lot and having a turbo only makes it worse. Hope you understand.

Welcome. What motor are you running? I had a friend with a B18 (stock internals) with a Garrett T3T60 dropped into a gutted '94 Civic coupe. That thing was really impressive to say the least.

Wow is all i have to say, someone comes in here saying they killed the all mighty cobalt, i forgot since this is a cobalt forum they dont loose.

 

There's always going to be a faster car than the one you have...I realize that. If I get killed by someone, I would post it, no problem. It will happen too.
