i was taking my girlfriend home earlier and at a light some kid in a mustang looked at me and gave me a face that looked like "lets run" so light turns green and basically i kicked his ass half way through 3rd and let off and let him pass me. i was 3/4 of a car before i quit trying. as he was slowing down i got next to him and gave him a thumbs down and he laughed and then sped up and i didnt follow suit. next light he laughed and gave me a thumbs up and then some riced out old P.O.S. saturn blew by us and he went up and caught him while i turned haha

yeah, sorry. it wasnt a 5.0 it would of most likely had the badge on the side of it. it was likely a 4banger or a 6. idk? he was a good sport about it haha

Yeah I raced a v6 mustang with my nissan altima. I got him off the line no problem. the older v6 mustangs are no match for the 2.2 and especially the 2.4. cobalt.

The 2.3L N/A Fox is unbelievably slow. If it was a 2.3, you would have beat it by 5 buslengths, and it would never be able to catch up with the Saturn

he said it was a close race so that lead me to blieve it wasn't the 2.3l but hey his car might be slower than mine lol

If it was an svo, probably would have kept up, if not beat you. My buddy has a murkur with the same motor and that thing moves

This needs qualification...

The SVO was arguably faster than the 5.0's of the same model years... 84-86.

The SVO is NOT faster than ALL Foxbody 5.0's, namely the 5-speed 87+ cars.
