My Redline vs. 2008 E63 AMG (video)
A friend and I were out in my car enjoying the decent weather before this nasty weekend and we saw this Mercedes that kept playing with other cars. It eventually ended up next to us and we realized it was a guy that we knew. He has a cobra also that I ran last year. Of course he wanted to run, and I still didn't know exactly what it was, but I was down. My car was on the low boost I've been running, 17 lbs for the run and I shifted out of 3rd at only 7k because I saw it creeping lean up top and wanted to be safe (Haven't done too many full pulls yet). It was 39* out and I am still on the stock wheels with 215 Eagle GT's on the front so...
I crept a little on the brake boost as his 3rd honk was slow.
My setup is:
ZZP Gen 3 2.1
F40 6-Speed
S259et turbo setup
17 psi for now (30 soon)
The rest isn't important lol
His car ended up being a 2008 Mercedes E63 AMG. 507bhp I guess.
This was from just below 40 to about 115 or so, then I was on the brakes HARD. I don't like racing on this bridge because its short and has a curve at the end...but its been so long
I just shut it down early.
I'll run him again, even on the same boost when I can rev to 8k at WOT and have some tires

More than I expected to find cruising around last night! Of course he wanted to race uphill on the bridge though lol
I know darn, its all the way up too and I broke off the knob. Then I found glue and banana flavored popsicles and my day was got better.

I'll have your turbo off early next week son. Then its time to see if yours works.
I've run a local E63 a couple times in my Z, they aren't that quick rolling but they do get off the line pretty well. Still a solid 12 sec car though, but trap speeds are ~110ish stock.

Stick to racing camry's son. They're more your speed.

My camaro did 12.4 with 3.73s and a tune, so basically stock... The camera car in the vid did 12.2... Slow. If I had drag radials my stock ls1 would have done the same time as his 400 horsepower red rocket.

And if you feel 12.2@119mph for a fwd 4 banger is slow you're ****** high
