My "Riced" Out Money Race (Sorry..No Vid)
So... Me, and some friends got bored a few weeks ago, bought some gay ass things on ebay. Example: Turbonator, some really "AWESOME!" neon tubes (1 purple, 1 green), and a Turbo Whistle Tip thing.
They came in last night, we ghetto rigged up the neons, so the tubes were visibly showing, screwed in the turbo whistle tip, and I put the Turbonator sticker on my window.
Typical Rice stuff.
We go out, pull into a parking lot, full of cars. They start talking to me about what I got done, and I try and play off the whole "I'm a kid with money, but don't know **** about cars" routine...
Kid had his hood up, I pointed to the alternator, asked what size cam it was because it looked HUGE! ....i can keep a straight face during all this.
Was a Supercharged Grand Prix, smaller pulley, that's about it.
They all laugh at me, etc, etc, etc. his friend made a comment of "DUDE! HE HAS ONE OF THOSE TURBO WHISTLE TIP THINGS!" They all laugh. then I hear a "OMG! HE HAS A BOOST GAUGE FOR IT TOO!" They all laugh harder. Someone then asks me if my car is fast, asked me what it runs, I said something along the lines of "Runs about 10's at like...110mph". They all laugh... call me out on it. Kid says "I'll bet you $200, my mid 14 sec car will smoke that slowbalt". I naturally...Agreed.
Long story short... I win $200, leave him a good portion of the way behind.
Get back to the parking lot, im collecting my money, a friend of mine popped the hood, people surround the car...and see the turbo, and all the other various things under my hood.
Kid starts throwing a bitch fit that I "cheated". I told him I had bolt ons. He said I didnt tell him I had a turbo, I did tell him I had a turbo whistler tip thing, and bolt ons.
He told me "DUDE! BOLT ONS DONT INCLUDE TURBOS!" I said "...but my turbo kit bolted right onto that motor. I didnt have to cut, or weld anything."
So... Me: 1, Random cool kids in a parking lot: 0.
