My SS/SC vs srt-4 vs svt focus
So i was cruisin home and seen this Srt-4 Neon and SVT focus trying to race and they started to honk I was probably 2 cars behind them(3 lane highway i was in far right srt-4 passing lane and middle lane focus) They start honking and then we all took off and they started quicker because they passed me before they got on it but it seemed like when we started it was all even speeds. Either way I started in 3rd and Instantly Reeled in the SVT which was running 10 pounds of boost, Then at about 4.5k RPMs im at the back bumper of the Srt-4 and he shifts into 4th and when that happened I sprayed(50 shot) and was pulling on him til i let off at the end of 4th. Beat the focus by atleast 5-6 cars and the Srt-4 by about 1.5.
Either way i was stoked.
BTW list of mods include:CAI, Stage II, GMPP exhuast manifold/header, New DP starts 3in to highflow cat and goes down to 2.5 right as my catback exhuast(2.5 all the way back) Adjustable Coilovers, 50 shot.
I think thats it but i might have a few more.
oh and btw i talked to them after i smoked em driving down the road.
Either way i was stoked.

Yeah well the Srt-4 was pulling on a boosted svt which 10 psi should give arround 100 hp including other mods needed for boost which goes to about 270 HP. That said the srt-4 pulled on him about the same as me so that means hes pretty close to 300hp himself. I got 323whp with the 50 shot on the dyno so im not upset. It was a good race. I raced a srt-4 neon who also sprayed and said he had 380 at the wheels and he pulled on me like a z06 would pull on me. So i respect the srt-4
Bad@ss win dude, Those mods are paying off greatly. U should not be pissed by beating the srt only by that much. They are turboed from the factory and easy to get great power out of them. by the way what kind of turbo was the srt making 380 to the wheels

I am not a big fan of the n20 thing, but hey instant power.
no idea what srt was running but the one i know and got smashed by has aftermarket turbo but i believe its the same type that is in it already running 28psi and a 50 shot.
the guy i raced last night looked pretty decently modded. I honestly believed Svt boosted would have beat both of us. I was stoked when i won. I dont really care how much i win by as long as its a win. and yeah if i would have been right next to them it would have been way different Probably wouldnt of even needed to spray.
Like i said I Respect Srt-4's they can make tons of power svt focus's idk too much about and it was first time ever racing one so i gotta give him props tho.
And im not a big fan of using nitrous either but i wanted more power for less than a turbo set up. Im thinking on putting a turbo on after christmas tho.

50 shot plus 30 hp from exhaust plus 70 hp from wga = + 150 hp
75 shot stock turbo cars have seen 120 traps...
well i dont kow anything about nitroux so i really can argue that, but i heard its usually 50shot is 50 to the wheels depends on the company u bought them from. But as far as turbo car make more power i really dont know
nitrous does more than add extra o2....it cools the intake charge...Think about compressed air...it gets hot...now think of God's Intercooler...yea..Think about the difference it made when you went from the stock FMIC to a big FMIC, now think of something that cools BELOW ambient temp, something NO FMIC can ever do.
You don't really think a 75 hp increase to a Neon is going to net 120+ mph traps do you?? No of course not, you're not dumb...that 75 shot netted more than 75 extra whp

i hardly consider stage 2 with weak exhaust and spray full bolt ons

"stage 3" cars do about 290 whp, 300tq with spray and those include far more advanced mods such as dual pass and HOM
how about cooling mods? tuning? clutch? tires? mounts? porting?
n20 is badass but doesnt have the upper hand to well built cars, even LSJs with toys
not hating but man, it seems the e dyno on this site is in need of calibration
i flag the race a good one but you need more than that to handle close to a modded turbo car or better
