I finally got in a little run with an S197 GT, other than my own against my SS/TC. Let me just say, this GT was a very badass looking GT. I think he was trying to do the whole KITT look alike thing because it looked just like it about. Anyways, I was driving home minding my own business in the slow lane on a 4 lane road that connects 2 of the main roads here where I live. Anyways, I seen him weaving in and out of traffic for about a mile and finally he was coming up on me fast. I knew he was gonna come up on me and shoot over beside me, so I was somewhat prepared for it. I was going about 45mph or so at this time when he did shoot into the other lane and come up on me, so I downshifted into 2nd and at this time he had about 2 cars or so on me, I gained a car back in mere seconds, shifted into 3rd, put about a 1/2 car on him at this time and put about 1-2 cars on him to about 130mph. I feel bad going this fast, especially since I've never been this fast in my SS/TC, but I will admit the car held up like a champ. Not too shabby I dont believe, but then again I dont know what performance mods he had. Maybe he was stock, maybe he had a few bolt ons, maybe I'll find out someday.

Yeah I know!!! I wasnt even trying to go that fast, nor did I know I was going that fast til I looked down. You seriously dont even know that you're going that fast in this car. It is soooo smooth!!

 

^ yes that is one thing i will def give the cobalts they are smooth as butter on the highway for a 4 banger.

 

Yea it doesnt take long to get to 130, its like you look up then back down at the speedo and its there.
