Was on my way to Hershey park yesterday...
And you wont believe the incredibleness I got to try and play with
A 350z with what I think was a supercharger came rolling up behind me (I could see a large intercooler glaring out of the aftermarket front bumper). When he came up on my right I couldnt even here a turbo spooling or even the whine of a supercharger, just loud exhaust. when he got in front of me, I saw that his license plate said ZLEEPER, lol. I loved it.
Then he started gunning it to get around some traffic and WOW it was quick, lol. we were rolling at 75-80mph already and it looked as though I was standing still when I was trying to mildly keep up.
Then low and behold he comes across a brand new Camaro SS that also had an aftermarket body kit on it, looked pretty clean. Camaro SS was in front and the Z followed behind him.
I hear the roar of the Camaro v8 and there off! The Z stayed on the SS's bumper and I had a hard time following them through the traffic but I kept my eye on the race the whole time until they went around a bend where I lost visual contact for 5 seconds. when I got around the bend, the 350z was about 500 feet in front of the camaro, lol. I flew by the camaro and caught up to the 350z at an exit, camaro followed.
The 350z romps on it through the exit turn and feeds on to the road (route 439??) I get on as well finally after listen to the gf call me a puss for not trying to speed over 80mph and trying to keep up with them safely lol.
To my surprise and with my perfect NLS, I managed to keep up with him from 20mph to about 80mph fairly easily (he didnt pull away). then we slowed down due to traffic and he waved while I nodded and the gf waved.
NEXT up was the camaro...
The Camaro still butt hurt about getting pwned by the 350z decided it was time to pick on the little guy, ugh... We got to a red light where he was in front and I was behind him. THe light turned green and I didnt turn off traction control DAMN IT!. His car squatts and he's off I gun it as well get a little tire spin and then NLS to 2nd and FART, the traction control came on and slowed me down big time. That camaro was way ahead at this point but I didnt give up I kept on the throttle NLS to 3rd and then 4th. At that point I started gaining on him, (Either he let off, which it definately didnt look like it or I got the best NLS into 4th ever. I could really feel the pull). Either way, it was interesting to see how an almost stock cobalt SS does with a Camaro SS and an obviously well over 450hp 350z. (I could tell the 350z was gonna blow me away after 3rd gear, lol.

Oh my bad sorry I thought it was. Then what's the point in having competitive mode? Why not just have a launch control button? Anyways good runs. That's impressive that you kept up with that high powered Z. 2nd gear on our car is a beast.
yeah, I was pretty sure you could use NLS in any mode. And right, Traction control ruined the Camaro SS race. (well I wasnt expecting to do much better in that race, lol.)
ESC is also off with Comp. mode- the DIC reflects this if you bothered to use it ... it's in your owner's manual.
