i dunno. Caddies arn't exactly slow. they may not be sports cars, but they've got *****. if you beat him, it's not going to be by as much as you're thinking. unless it's an anything with a "v"... then you're toast

if your going up a hill you will walk by him. i got stuck behind this person in a DeVille one day and there was the little hill and a passing lane one for normal drivers and another for slow moveing cars. this lane isint even 300ft long its little. so when we got to the hill he didnt go in the slow lane and i did. so i floored my car then i hear this loud sound of a motor rev and he hit the gas so i couldint pass him but he couldint get his tank up the hill fast enought and i cut infront of him.

 

STS-V8 is no slouch. It'll run a mid-high 14 in the 1/4. I dont suggest going from a dig, as it will definitely jump you off the line and you'll have to try and reel him in before he shuts down.

 

if your 2.4 then more than likely youll get beat a ss sc has a better chance and if a sts v cts v or anything along that line you wont stand a chance

 

Is it a newer or older Caddy. The older STS's and ETC's were pretty quick, but they were also FWD. The Newer ones would be a decent challenge with the SS S/C.

We need more info on the Caddy before a good estimate can be made. Year and Model would be very helpful.
