From a 35, you will win because he won't downshift lol. They won't downshift past 27mph (into 1st)
So I'd assume you guys would do a 25 roll, in which case. He will beat you. Badly.
fuckk... well hopefully we will do the 35roll
its a v8, 6spd, dont believe its a ws6..
dam didnt know that was our deadspot if it is? seems to pull pritty hard for me around that speed. i have a feeling he will pull hard on me from a dig.. : / but w/e we will prly do a few diff starts

At first I thought this was a joke, a troll thread but now I realize the OP is serious. If in anyway you end up with in 2 cars or less of a full exhaust TA then **** will hit the fan especially since you are stock with a drop in. BTW, the less back pressure the better for cars like that, hence the reason cutouts are so popular (plus the sound). If he has a normal exhaust set up then keeping that as open as possible is good. Have fun and use this as a gauge for after you get tuned. If you lose by say 6+ cars from 25-110 with a tune it will probably be 2 or so and so forth, it is the best comparison you can have if he stays as is for comparing mods...
Tyler
PS in that pic of you and the TA, is that your buddies TA? And is that the stock intercooler on your car?

also, he deff lost tq from the exhaust we installed, so either a loss of backpressure isss the prob, or we fucked up somewhere... haha

When you put a free flowing exhaust on with little back pressure you will typically lose torque in the low range and maybe a little in the mid range. Once you get into the mid range the low back pressure will make the torque come on strong as well as increasing HP big time.
I am going to guess you *MAY* stay within two or three cars of him up till about 100 then he will really move away fast.
The TA in your pic gallery has a WS6 hood on it so are you sure its not a WS6? Not that it's going to change the outcome that much.... but it would be nice to know. The slowest Ws6 out of our F-body club used to run 13.6's bone stock with like 6000 miles on it ..... it never broke into the the 13.50's as far as i know .... but that was the slowest LS1 Fbody I've ever seen at the track ......well....that made a good pass .
You might stay within a couple cars from a 40 roll but once he gets into 3rd gear he's gonna show you tail lights running away. Assuming the Trans Am doesn't have some major malfunctions that you're hinting it might.
idk dude, its been beaten and abused, 100 and liek 23 thousand miles on it, guy ran it all the time, and were pritty sure he was juicin too.. idk i just dont think its running as good as one should. well see what happens...
I had a hard time keeping up with a stock 01 Trans Am on drag radials from a 40 roll when I was just tuned and trapping 111.
Yea but we're talking a bone stock SS T/C against a LS1 car here. I'm pretty sure any LS car is going to pull a stock LNF. Only exception may be the LS4 Monte Carlo's, I'm unfamiliar with them.
