The light goes green and you dump the clutch and again WTF! The Escort launched on you like the ******* space shuttle! You grab 2nd and stare in disbelief as all you see are the rapidly disapearing taillights of ....... an ESCORT! An Escort? But how? Your mind begins to race as you grab 3rd in vain cause its all over but the crying. Your girl looks over at you in horror as her champion, her knight in shinning armor on his majestic white steed has just been THRASHED by what he has always pointed at and laughed.

There will be no sex for you tonight oh vanquished knight only the sad lonely darkness and quiet that is the nite as you relive that tragic moment over and over again till you drift off to sleep.

Holy ****. That sounds like an adult version of my short story essay I had to write on high school. I guess that stuff never leaves some of us.

I have one story of mass disappointment for one Neon driver and his girl around Dillsburg PA. I had a tandem axle dump trailer loaded with 9k of shingles (21k gross truck and trailer) from replacing the roof on a church. I was at the red light and in the other lane a teal Neon (lame ass version) with a grocery cart wing and 5" fart can had the nerve to sit there revving his engine waiting for the light to change.

I reached over and flipped it into 4wd, turned my MP8 to 100% and cranked up the water/meth. I figured I was going to blow something apart or beat this knucklehead. I started out in 2nd gear and when I snatched 3rd I think the left front tire came off the ground it twisted up so hard. I let out when I hit about 60 and he had his high beams on to see through the smoke at 2pm. His girl was not giving him any ***** for a long time.

 

my boss has an old escort like that from Germany that he put a t3/t4 turbo in and is a beast. Think twice before you race one of these stockish looking escorts. They can be beasts

A good friend of mine has an early model mazda protege, same powertrain and body as the escorts. The engine is being built right now with the japanese turbo bottom end. The turbo is off an 07 WRX I believe and looking for 250-275hp on a conservative tune. Even before this build it was a crazy sleeper. Looked completly stock besides the exhaust and different wheels.
