yea, i got owned at woodward...i fail


i just hope i dont have to sell my car...

well i was leaving woodward...and i dont recall his name, but he has the 2.2L with the SS wing and exhaust and other work dont recall it all...anyway we took off on a light, and yea i was just playin around, next thing i know there are lights behind him...then they rolled up to me told me to pull over as well...so we did, they nailed us for drag racing...i got dropped to careless driving, which i would assume he did as well...they brought a K9 unit to search our cars and all for practice, but yea, im a little upset as i watched people race, burn out, run redlights right in front of cops, and i get caught when im leaving...i was a little upset...

well quite pissed actually

 

uh was the color of the balt have like a light blue color with a fart can on the back and white pin stripping? I think I know who that is. bummer to hear about the pull over. how old are you?

actually it's about $300. Assuming he has no prior convictions he is looking at a $700 increase in premiums for the next 2 years.

Still sucks. I know how cops down there can be. Was it a Birmingham cop?

 

That sucks man. Dont you people get scared when you sit on your balt? just asking cuz that's how i feel everytime i go in and drive the car. You don't know if it's the day that you would get a ticket.

 

yea birmingham, but its a $170 and i do ahve a clean record, the cop told me to take it to court and she said they might drop it for you...so thats what i im doing

Ya, that was the car. I saw them take off at Auto Europe. That 2.4 guy was behind Tom's SS and then tried to pass him. Not the smartest place to race infront of the cops there...

Tom.....I'm still wondering why did you waste your time racing that SLOW 2.4 guy. He's actually on here as well (Cobaltss.net stickers on the rear glass sides and GM powered on the lower front windshield). He's always driving around trying to race anything out there. Sorry to hear both you guys got nailed. Take it to court...ask for probation/driving course....and get a lawyer otherwise the $$$$$ later in Insurance/points will kill you.

yea, i already got 2 tickts in my balt'. One for street racing, which the court date is september 13, and I just got another one last friday for excessive noise....spinning my tires...All my tires did was chirp. Anyways the cop told me to go to court for the excessive noise one, which is 5 days after my court date for street racing. He said it will most likely be dropped. I have a lawyer to go to court with me for the street racing one.

Dude i cant belve it, Why waste your time?...we all know that your car is fast for how little we've done to it...but this was a waste of time...you know woodward is a baddddd place to even try to set-up a race the cops will and prob did fallow you untill this.

but yea you know my tickit droping stratigy so do it.

also sneaky has some good infor...a $700 insurance increase isnt as bad as i was exspecting, thats only like $60 a month.

be thankfull that the tickit got droped from drag raceing....that can lead to an impounded car and worse.
