Porsche 968!!!

***Cliff Notes At Bottom***

WOW! So I am out with my Girlfriend driving tonight. We're just cruising along... when all the sudden, I see this STUNNINGLY beautiful Porsche 968 ( I believe it was a 968) up ahead. A brilliant red, just like mine! Traffic is thick... and I have to admire from about 3 cars back. When traffic finally clears for me to get up and take a look... he turns . SO I don't get to gaze at it's beauty for very long.

Well, 10 minutes later I am on the other side of town. I stop in the Left turn lane for a Red Light. The intersecting road is a four laner, I like. I see a van coming up behind me... but then they turn into the parking lot... Guess who is behind me. That SWEET Porsche! There is virtually no traffic going on to the road I am turning on to... so when I get the green arrow... open roads. I get into the right lane... he takes the left and from 4 cars back i just hear this Awesome ROAR! So I punch it as well. I'm expecting this car to FLY past me. Nope. I look back, and he is still 3 cars back. We both let off shortly after taking off. So, I slow back down to 35... let him get up beside me. He gets beside me looks at me Nodding his head, points down and mouths "Porsche baby!". His Wifey looks at more car and chuckles... alright then. I hear him give it a little bit of throttle... then we both floor it at the same time! I'm still sort of expecting him to pull away, but no... I pull a good 2 cars before we both let off. I was Stoked! Jumping for joy! They drive past, he gives a thumbs up and his wifey winks! SWEEEEEET!

that Porsche was sweeter than hell! Sounded fantastic as well! Made my night!

---CLIFF NOTES---

I raced a Sweet Porsche 968 and won by 3 cars.

Nice kill! Yeah, Porsche's are sure sweet. Their was a guy in my church who had a 90's 911 turbo putting down 500+ to the wheels. In his words, "When you're going 180 on the highway, it really doesn't seem that fast." Those things are gorgeous. Keep up the war stories!

HAHHAHAHA.....no...the 968's, 944's, 928's..and the other one I can't think of all came with a 6 or 8. Wherever you got the 4cyl from is bunk. The 968/28 came with a v8 stock..they put down a decent number when you can keep them running. the 944 came with a 6, but an 8 from a 68/28 can be shoed in there with work, but it's just easier to turbo them.

The 968's engine was the second-largest 4-cylinder ever offered in a production car, and the most powerful naturally-aspirated 4-cylinder engine ever sold in a production automobile up to that time. I guess when I looked under the hood the other day and saw an inline 4... I was seeing a mirage... Stupid me.
